New Burger King UK Website

2004 marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of Burger King's first restaurant in Miami in 1954, to help commemorate the occasion, Burger King UK commissioned a radical new look for their new website.

The site reflects the Americana re-branding that is currently being implemented throughout Burger King restaurants worldwide but extends this theming with the introduction of a city which visitors use to navigate the site.

The site is updately bi-weekly with new promotions, plus detects user activity and automatically displays current TV commercials & promotions while the user is inactive. While the majority of the site is consumer orientated, it also contains substantial corporate information detailing franchise processes & employment opportunities.

Several updates are planned during the coming months, the first being a new online Skateboarding Game "SK8 Park" that is due for release in February. Further features include ePostcards, find my nearest BK restaurant, history timelime from 1954 to present day, a nutritional & allergies guide plus registering for a BK newsletter.
