Quarterly Employee Briefing Presentation CDROM & Intranet Archive

We were commissioned to provide an archive of the Employee Briefing presentation for Global Marine Systems given by their CEO. The archive was to be used on Global Marine Systems intranet and distributed on CDROM to their offices and ships worldwide. Previously Global Marine Systems had distributed VHS recordings of the presentation, but found this solution slow to produce and not entirely satisfactory.

The live presentation was recorded and supplied to us on digital video tape. Once the video was encoded, we synchronised it with the slides using our ezpresenter™ system. The fully interactive CDROM allowed the user to navigate the presentations and Q&A sessions at will and contained links to additional Word and PowerPoint documents. The synchronised archive for the intranet was simultaneously created in HTML and Windows Media (the preferred media format used on the Global Marine Systems intranet).

The CDROM & intranet archives proved a great success for Global Marine Systems, as it allowed the presentations to be available worldwide much quicker than before. Within 15 minutes of the presentations being made available on their intranet servers in the UK, Global Marine Systems US offices were viewing them, when VHS tape had been used, this had taken a minimum of three weeks!

The archives have been so successful that Vision360 have created them every financial quarter since March 2002.
